A. Introduction
The UV aging test chamber simulates the damage caused by sunlight, rain and dew, and tests the materials by exposing the tested materials to alternating cycles of light and humidity at controlled high temperatures. It uses ultraviolet lamps to simulate the radiation of sunlight, and condensation and water spray to simulate dew and rain. In just days or weeks, UV radiation equipment can reproduce damage that takes months or even years to occur outdoors, including fading, color changes, tarnishing, chalking, cracks, cracks, wrinkling, blistering, embrittlement, strength reduction, oxidation, etc., the test results can be used to select new materials, improve existing materials, or evaluate changes in material formulations.
B. Application
The UV aging testing machine is mainly used to simulate the damaging effects of sunlight, moisture and temperature on materials;

The temperature is controllable during the entire test cycle;
Typical test cycles are usually UV light exposure at high temperature and a dark humid condensation cycle at 100% relative humidity;

D. Features
The irradiation/condensation/water spray test can be performed separately, or any combination of irradiation/condensation/water spray test can be programmed.
Provide comprehensive and detailed real-time monitoring and curve recording of important test parameters such as irradiance, temperature, and time. Reports and curve printing can also be generated through the computer.
Adopt 7-inch true color touch screen control system, which has good stability, monitoring, operability and maintenance.
Provide a life reference for UV lamps with expensive materials (the lamps are consumables, with a lifespan of about 1,000 hours), which facilitates users to confirm the replacement time of the lamps and saves usage costs.
Adopt an automated water supply and drainage design and use high-cost high-power water mercury to ensure the flow rate and uniformity of water spray.
Most of the main components are from international brands, and a small part are from domestic brands, which improves the safety and reliability of the product.
The installation and wiring of the electrical part of the equipment shall be carried out in accordance with international electrical standards.
E. Test conditions
The test sample is fixed on the test rack, facing the fluorescent lamp. When the sample does not fill the sample rack, it is necessary to fill the sample rack with a black board to keep the inner wall of the test box closed.
Test temperature. Three temperatures of 50, 60, and 70°C can be used during illumination, and 60°C is preferred; the temperature in the condensation stage is 50°C, and the temperature tolerance uniformity is ±2.
The cycle of lighting and condensation can be selected from two cycles of 4H lighting and 4H condensation or 8H lighting and 4H condensation. After the first 400 to 450 hours of illumination, one fluorescent lamp needs to be replaced for each row of lamps, and other lamps should be replaced according to the lamp cycle and replacement method to compensate for the loss caused by the aging of the lamps. When replacing lamps, the water tray should be dried and cleaned to avoid the formation of scale.
